Responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality products
Develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM, Fusion 360,and Vectric/ Aspire Software.
Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the best machining methods
Collaborate with other departments to ensure project timelines are met
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications
Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models
Loading raw materials into the CNC machine
Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software
Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job
Adjusting machine setting to the desired product specifications
Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process
Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing process
Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product
Creating jigs for production using CNC
Ability to meet CNC cutting quota for production daily
Cleaning and maintaining the machine
Training new staff on machine operation procedures
Design and develop furniture
Design and develop furniture catalog
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in CNC programming, Fusion 360,Vectric/ Aspire, CNC milling, 3 axis mill, 4 axis mill, CNC set up and operate, and woodworking
Proficient in CAD, CAM, Fusion 360,and Vectric/ Aspire software
Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED/Mechanical Engineering Degree a plus!
Strong mathematical skills for calculations and measurements
Previous work experience as a CNC programmer with Fusion 360, Vectric/ Aspire CNC Programmer Software
Ability to read and interpret design blueprints
Extensive experience with computer modeling software
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and stick to a deadline
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work after-hours when required
Strong CAD/CAM background
Advanced CNC Programming for 3, 4 & 5 axis machines
More than 5-10 years of CNC programming experience, including CAD/CAM, Fusion 360, and Vectric/ Aspire software
