I am working on a project related to the seismic behavior of geopolymer concrete bridge piers with high-strength steel reinforcement. The experimental cyclic loading tests have already been completed. I need an experienced ABAQUS/FEM researcher to develop a detailed numerical model and validate it against experimental results. Required work: 1. Develop a 3D finite element model of a geopolymer concrete bridge pier in ABAQUS. 2. Define concrete material behavior using the Concrete Damage Plasticity (CDP) model. 3. Input experimentally obtained material properties: - Elastic modulus - Poisson's ratio - Compressive stress-strain relationship - Tensile stress-strain relationship - Damage parameters (dc and dt) 4. Model high-strength steel reinforcement and interaction with concrete. 5. Apply cyclic loading protocol similar to experimental testing. 6. Validate ABAQUS results with experimental hysteresis curves. 7. Perform analysis of: - Load-displacement response - Hysteresis behavior - Skeleton curve - Stiffness degradation - Energy dissipation - Damage evolution Deliverables: - Complete the ABAQUS CAE model file - Input (.inp) file - Simulation results - Comparison graphs between experimental and numerical results - Technical explanation suitable for a PhD thesis/research paper. Experience with seismic analysis, reinforced concrete structures, geopolymer concrete, and ABAQUS CDP modeling will be preferred.

Hi there, Modeling geopolymer concrete bridge piers under cyclic loading in ABAQUS requires accurate nonlinear material calibration, concrete damage plasticity (CDP), reinforcement interaction, and validation of hysteretic behavior against published or experimental data. I can develop a robust finite element model that captures stiffness degradation, cracking, energy dissipation, and load–displacement response under cyclic loading. I have experience with advanced ABAQUS nonlinear simulations involving reinforced concrete, cyclic loading, contact interactions, and validation studies. The deliverables will include the complete ABAQUS model, calibrated material definitions, mesh sensitivity checks, load–displacement and hysteresis plots, stress/damage contours, and a well-structured technical report. Timeline: To be finalized after reviewing the project scope. Budget: Flexible and open for discussion. One question: Is this study based on an existing experimental paper that needs validation, or do you need the complete ABAQUS model developed from the bridge pier geometry and material properties? Best regards, Arati M.

Hello, As an ABAQUS/FEM researcher equipped with a solid grasp of seismic analysis, reinforced concrete structures, geopolymer concrete and ABAQUS CDP modeling, I believe I am the perfect fit to tackle your complex project. I pride myself on my proficiency in developing 3D finite element models within ABAQUS, including employing the Concrete Damage Plasticity (CDP) model to accurately replicate the behavior of your geopolymer concrete bridge piers under cyclic loading. Reliability is my key trait—I worked directly with clients like you to fully comprehend their requirements and deliver tailor-made solutions. This approach not only enabled me to understand your research aims but also to convey them through my work. By carefully incorporating your experimentally obtained material properties (Elastic modulus, Poisson's ratio, compressive/tensile stress-strain relationships, and damage parameters) into the modeling, I will ensure a close match between simulation and real-world hysteresis curves. Additionally, I don't just deliver dry numbers—I'll create detailed graphs comparing experimental and numerical results, accompanied by technical explanations befitting a PhD thesis/research paper. Best regards Bharti

Hi, I can develop and validate a detailed 3D ABAQUS finite element model of your geopolymer concrete bridge pier using the Concrete Damage Plasticity (CDP) model based on your experimental data. The work will include defining concrete and high-strength steel material properties, reinforcement interaction, cyclic loading implementation, and validation of the numerical model against the experimental hysteresis response. I will evaluate load-displacement behavior, hysteresis loops, skeleton curves, stiffness degradation, energy dissipation, and damage evolution, delivering the complete **ABAQUS CAE model**, **.inp** file, simulation results, comparison graphs, and a well-structured technical report suitable for inclusion in a PhD thesis or journal publication. With experience in nonlinear finite element analysis, reinforced concrete structures, seismic performance evaluation, and ABAQUS CDP modeling, I can ensure the numerical model is accurate, reproducible, and aligned with your experimental findings.
