A one day work shop to discuss: - In detail the current AML/KYC process and regulations for retail banks and other financial institutions within the EU and (ideally) North America. o Including the role of the notary and or legal firms. o Including the role of 3rd party identity validators (i.e. online identity verification services or document verification services). o Including how documents are sourced for individuals and corporates. o Including how beneficial owners are identified and validated. o Including risk scores assigned to banking customers/customers of other financially regulated companies. o Including ongoing maintenance of said KYC documentation. - Validation of a new proposed (i.e. to be) AML/KYC process. o discussion of potential pitfalls or blockers to adoption in the EU and (ideally)North American markets. o Including the new role of the notary and or legal firms. o Including the new role of 3rd party identity validators (i.e. online identity verification services or document verification services). o Including how documents will be sourced for individuals and corporates. o Including how beneficial owners will be/need to be identified and validated. o Including risk scores assigned to banking customers/customers of other financially regulated companies. o Including ongoing maintenance of said KYC documentation
