**LATAM Spanish (Mexico) Microdrama Content QC Freelancer** We're looking for a **Mexico-based freelancer** with truly native **LATAM Spanish (Mexican)** who can help us perform **linguistic quality checks (QC)** on localized microdrama content. Your primary responsibility will be reviewing translated scripts, subtitles (SRTs), and occasionally dubbed videos to ensure the Spanish sounds completely natural for audiences in Mexico and the broader LATAM market. You'll be expected to identify and flag anything that feels unnatural, inconsistent, or culturally inaccurate, as well as catch grammar, spelling, punctuation, terminology, and formatting issues before the content goes live. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail and understands how dialogue should flow in entertainment content. Experience reviewing subtitles, audiovisual localization, dubbing scripts, or streaming content is highly preferred. Familiarity with subtitle timing, reading speed, and maintaining consistency in character names, tone, and terminology across episodes is a strong advantage. Turnaround times are generally quick, so we're looking for someone who is available during **Mexican business hours** and can deliver clear, well-organized feedback within agreed timelines. **When you apply, please include:** * Any experience reviewing or quality-checking Spanish subtitles, dubbing scripts, or localized entertainment content. * Experience with microdrama, TV series, films, YouTube content, or other audiovisual localization projects. * The tools you're comfortable using (e.g., Google Docs, Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, OOONA, Trados, memoQ, Figma, or similar). * Your typical turnaround time for reviewing approximately **60–90 minutes of subtitled content** (or equivalent script length). * Your hourly or per-minute QC rate, if applicable. We'll begin with a short test. If it's a good fit, we're looking to build a long-term collaboration with a steady pipeline of microdrama localization projects.

I understand you need a Mexican native speaker to perform quality checks on LATAM Spanish web content, specifically identifying tone, clarity, grammar, and spelling issues. I've successfully proofread and edited hundreds of marketing pages for a major e-commerce platform, ensuring regional dialect accuracy and flawless grammar. My process involves a thorough review of each page, whether live or in draft, within your CMS. I'll meticulously check for any deviations from the desired tone or clarity, and meticulously flag every grammatical or spelling error. I'm comfortable distinguishing between body text and UI micro-copy, and ensuring overall stylistic consistency. What is the expected turnaround time for each batch of content pages? Ready to start as soon as you confirm scope.

Web content QA is something I handle regularly — I build and maintain sites across WordPress, Shopify, and custom CMS setups, so I'm consistently the last set of eyes on content before it goes public. That means I already think about the things you called out: heading consistency, how micro-copy reads differently from body text, whether CTAs actually match the page intent, and catching the grammar and spelling slips that get past the original writer. Your workflow sounds familiar — I've done exactly this kind of QA pass for e-commerce clients and SaaS dashboards. Receive the draft or staged page, read it carefully with fresh eyes, and return organized, well-commented feedback with specific callouts on tone, clarity, and consistency. Not just flagging typos, but noting when a heading style shifts mid-page, when a link label doesn't match its destination, or when a CTA feels flat compared to the rest of the copy. I'm comfortable working in Google Docs (comments and suggested edits), and I regularly work inside CMS backends — WordPress, Shopify, Webflow — so I understand how content renders in context vs. how it reads in a document. That matters because a paragraph that reads fine in Google Docs can feel wrong once it's sitting inside a card component or a product description block. I catch those layout-level issues alongside the language ones. For a 1,000-word page, my typical turnaround is same-day — usually within a few hours if it comes in during the morning. I'm based in Los Angeles, which gives solid timezone overlap with Mexican working hours, and I stay responsive during that window. I use AI tools as part of my review workflow to catch patterns and inconsistencies that a single read-through might miss — faster, more thorough passes without sacrificing the human judgment on tone and clarity. What you'd get working with me: reliable, thorough QA feedback on a predictable schedule, with nothing falling through the cracks. Clean handoffs, consistent formatting in my comments, and a reviewer who understands the CMS side well enough to flag issues beyond just the text. Happy to take on your test page whenever you're ready — that's the best way to see if the quality and turnaround match what you need. I can start today.

With 20 years of professional experience in the technology and language industry, I am confident that I am the perfect fit for this position. I hold a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and a proven track record in developing AI solutions that have assisted in natural language processing - a skill set that would be of great value to your QA review of localized Spanish content. Although my background might seem unique, it has given me a sharp eye for detail, as exemplified in my work on software engineering and problem-solving. Having worked on machine learning algorithms, analytics platforms, and SaaS applications among others, I understand the intricacies involved in maintaining consistency in character names, tone, and terminology across varied scenarios – an important aspect for entertainment content. My recent role as CTO of an AI-driven startup further establishes my suitability for this assignment. I led the technical development of multiple advanced digital products across web and mobile applications, focusing on system optimization and ensuring scalability. Taking into account the specifics of your project including Mexican business hours availability, turnaround times and tools required, I am confident in not only satisfying your current needs but also building a long-term collaboration with you. Looking forward to discussing my hourly or per-minute QC rate as applicable and further demonstrating my skill-set during the short test phase.

Hello, I'm a native Mexican Spanish speaker with strong proofreading and quality assurance skills, and I'd be happy to help review your localized microdrama content. Although my professional background is in software development and QA rather than audiovisual localization, my daily work requires meticulous attention to detail, consistency checks, and identifying issues before release. Those same skills translate well to reviewing scripts and subtitles for grammar, punctuation, terminology, natural dialogue, and overall readability. What I can offer: - Native Mexican Spanish with a strong understanding of natural LATAM wording. - Careful review of grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, and cultural appropriateness. - Consistency checks for character names, terminology, and dialogue across episodes. - Clear, organized feedback with fast communication and reliable turnaround. I'm comfortable working with Google Docs and similar collaborative tools, and I'm always quick to learn new workflows or specialized software when needed. For approximately 60–90 minutes of subtitled content, my typical review turnaround would be within one business day, depending on the complexity of the material. I'd be happy to complete your initial test and demonstrate the quality of my work. If we're a good fit, I'd welcome the opportunity to build a long-term collaboration. Thank you for your consideration.
