Gheerulla Creek Walk Notes

I have a note recorded on a Sony ICD-P620 voice recorder of a bush walk in Australia that I required transcribed into a Word document and emailed back to me.

Transcription of two folders recorded on a Sony ICD-P620.

Folder A is 10.2 MB, consisting of 86 files, each being an individual recording.

The first file is 001_A_012 Wedgetail Adventure

The second file is 001_A_013 Wedgetail Adventure

Etc.

The files are *.dvf

Folder B is 9.3 MB consisting of 99 files, each being an individual recording.

The first file is 002_B_001 Wedgetail Adventure

The second is file 002_B_002 Wedgetail Adventure

Etc.

The files are *.dvf

I require all the files in both folders transcribed into Microsoft Word 2002 using Times New Roman 10 Pt, in the following format. (Only Note 12 from Folder A has been transcribed).

A thin line of light was showing in the Eastern Sky As I headed out of Brisbanedown the M1 motor way heading towards Mapleton day centre for the start of the two day circuit of the Sunshine Coast Great Walk.

When Folder A has been transcribed transcribe Folder B in the same format.

The recordings were made during a two day bushwalk in Australia and most of the recordings were made on the move while carrying a 20 kg backpack so there is quite a bit of heavy breathing during the recording. There is reference to a number of indigenous names which are difficult to spell so where you are unsure use three question marks - ???. We can correct this during the edit stage. Despite the breathing the recordings are of a good quality so there should be very little that will be hard to decipher, but where this occurs use two question marks - ??.

I would like to monitor the transcription process so I will need the transcription of folder A returned to me for perusal PRIOR to commencing the transcription of folder B. Once I have perused the transcription of folder A and I am happy with it I will give you the OK to commence with transcribing folder B.

I would like the transcriptions completed and emailed to me by Close of Business on Friday 18 September 2009.
