It must follow standard report format (i.e., include a brief abstract, a cover page, an introduction, a table of contents, a conclusion, a bibliography, etc.) and be a maximum of 5000 words. Some sample topics: * A comparison of CORBA and Web Services * The Future of Web Services * Web Services: Hype or Help? * Web Services for Massively Parallel Computation * A Critical Evaluation and Comparison of Two Web Services Development Environments It shall be fully referenced (using Harvard Style, please), and will be assessed according to the following scale: A ??" The report is well-written, well-organised, clear, reflective, critical, evaluative, makes obvious reference to external sources, clearly indicates in-depth thought and consideration and contains no spelling or grammar mistakes beyond the occasional minor typographical error. B ??" The report is generally well-written, but perhaps not as clear or evaluative (i.e., tending towards descriptive, for example) as an 'A' report. C ??" The report is quite good, but may demonstrate some significant flaws. D ??" The report is satisfactory, but flawed. It may be unclear or poorly organised. F ??" The report is fundamentally flawed, incomplete, and/or reflective of minimal or hasty effort. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
