Hello, It seems that you want to implement face detection using PCA on a sample dataset in C++. Being a Machine Learning and Data Science enthusiast I usually work in Python (and sometimes in C) as part of participating in different Machine Learning challenges hosted by platforms such as Topcoder and Kaggle. Recently, I participated in a Device Image Classification hosted by the Topcoder platform and achieved a weighted AUC score of 0.9737. The goal was to classify the given image in one of the 5 types of devices. Latter, I also participated in the Diabetic Retinopathy competition hosted by Kaggle and achieved one of the places in the top 35% position on the private leaderboard. Hi, I'm assuming your project needs a C++ implementation + face recognition using PCA. For this, I will implement the famous "Eigen Faces" algorithm. REGARDING PROJECT The face 1) detection and 2)recognition are two parts of this task. In 1987 this algorithm was first introduced. We shall divide the code in eigen vectors, generation and comparison, then ranking. Exact details will be given in the TIMELINE pdf. The dataset is readily available for testing.
