C++ programming

For your semester project, you will create a program to show off the tools you have learned. Your project may be one of your choosing, but you must write out detailed specifications like the example below with mock-up screens and submit a proposal for my approval. The example shows the beginning of a basic narrative for the project. Of course, you will submit a completed one. Select a project that interests you personally and that you can be proud of showing to others. It should be something you do not at the moment know how to do. Your proposal only is due November 4th . Your project should include at a minimum: • Tools you have learned in your studies • However, your project should require that you reach beyond your comfort zone (which will vary between individuals) • You will research and learn new tools and techniques to accomplish your task • It should include some form of file I/O • Structured programming standards should be used • It should be well documented • It should be modularized. main() should only serve to organize and call the major functions • You are encouraged to include (perhaps in header files) your own generic primitives (functions, objects, structures, and constructs that you have created/developed) • You may alternately use LSL (Linden Scripting Language) to create a project in Second Life (with my approval, of course)
