Web Research and Data Entry for Veteran and Military Medical Health Publications

The aim is to produce a listing of veteran and military academic journals, newsletters and publications issued by scientific publishers, veteran and military associations, departments of defence in Australia, UK, Canada and USA. The information is to provide an overview of the breadth of information published on veteran and military health, which formats are most common and which organisations are the leaders in the discussion on this topic. The ultimate aim is to position an academic peer-reviewed journal on this topic in the global academic sphere at the highest level. Data required: name of publication, publisher, format, times per year, circulation and cost per edition. A publisher in this project is not the printing or academic journal distribution agency, rather it will be the name of the auspicing organisation responsible for the publication. This job requires pro-active, detailed web research to establish which organisations publish material and in what format. A sample data worksheet will be provided and the working file will need to be shared in Google docs so that we can have full interaction with a current version as the project progresses. Full data across all the fields nominated is required, as this work is part of a competitive market analysis project and all data must be included for the project to be successful. For this reason, a simple search engine search will not be sufficient - it will require research into where this subject matter may appear followed up by investigation to establish what is available. It is paramount that this topic is researched thoroughly. This is not a simple search or web scraping exercise.
