We are a small, growing company working out of The Yard co-working building (2 blocks from Nassau stop on G train) next to McCarren Park on Williamsburg/Greenpoint border. We are currently looking for a dependable, responsible, hardworking individual to join our team. Duties include communicating with customers via telephone and email, typing price quotes from templates, maintaining database, and above all staying well organized and working consistently. We sell components for machinery and 99% of our sales are repeat orders. Full training provided. No sales skills needed other than warm, friendly, competent demeanor. QUALIFICATIONS: * Ability to be very comfortable communicating with customers- Our customers are all professional engineering, procurement and service personnel. * Ability to problem solve, and remain friendly, courteous and professional. * Ability to perform in a highly organized and detail-oriented manner. * Excellent Verbal, Written Communications and Interpersonal Skills. * Office Experience preferred, but will consider candidate without, if they can demonstrate excellence in skills listed above. * Must live within one hour commute or less from Greenpoint. BENEFITS * 2 weeks vacation on accrual basis starting from day one. * 5 PTO or Sick days annually starting after first 3 months.
