I have two CSV file containing the power consumption from a particular CT (current transformer) over a number of days taken using NILM (Nonintrusive load monitoring - [login to view URL])
The scenario is as follows:
1) Based on the data I need to be able to know how many different devices are turned on in total.
2) I need to know how long each device is turned on for and when they are turned on or off.
3) I need to know the power consumption of the devices. (cumulative energy)
Input:
1 CSV for the whole CT
1 CSV for a socket that is connected to the CT
(you will find the CSVs here: [login to view URL])
Output format:
device_type, device_no, turned off timestamp, turned on timestamp, cumulative energy
For device no, they are enumerated based on the total number of devices you think exist in the the CSV provided. If you think there are a total of 3 devices, then the device_nos should be 0,1, and 2.
For device_type, choose something from "Appliance", "High or Low power", or "Description" as in '[login to view URL]' depending on how confident you are of the label.
Notes: socket data is a subset of CT data.
Sometimes the socket is unable to talk to the gateway and if that persists for some duration, the connection is dropped and the "0"s are sent instead.
