I am a qualified Chartered Accountant from Pakistan having a 7 years work experience in the field of auditing and accounting. I was previously employed as a Manager in EY Global (2014 - 2016) and before was in PwC as a supervising senior (2009-2013). During these 7 years not only have i gained a qualification but have also gathered a lot of knowledge and experience related to book keeping, accounting, payroll, human resource procedures and policies, financial analysis, cost accounting and other finance and planning aspects. Not only do we get a first hand experience in understanding the business side but also we need to be effective and efficient in completing the tasks at hand in order to complete the audit within strict deadline.
This requires a very good grip in Excel Spreadsheets and also multiple ERP systems to cross check client related postings. Further to this, as a Manager my tasks included ensuring the audit team meets the deadline and performs the required tasks while keeping up with the firm's standard and policies. During my 7 years i have provided other services to the clients along side auditing clients. These other services include business planning, providing guidelines in setting up different aspects of a business including HR.
