JOB:
Design and Build a SECURE Bluetooth Lock Controller and E-Key system which is almost identical to Kevo Kwikset Smart Lock and other similar products on the market. The number one priority is SECURITY. Everything must have the best safety practices put in place and work with high strength encryption. I am looking for someone who has worked with Bluetooth Smart Locks before and understands best practice and understands the best BT chips and MCU's to use based on what is required.
I require a Fully function prototype with the following BASIC requirements. As we progress more features will be added.
WHAT IS REQUIRED IS A PROTOTYPE ASAP WITH THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
1. A 'Controller' PCB that will be mounted on an Internal House Wall. It will consist of:
i) A BT Module with DUAL Antennas to detect whether a 'BT KEY' (BT FOBS/BT Smart Phones) is INSIDE or OUTSIDE of the house to lock/unlock the doors. It will require a calibration process.
ii) Internal/External Buttons which will work as inputs to lock/unlock doors given certain circumstances.
iii) LED's to display system status
iv) Transistors to divert the 12V power to the Locks
2. BT FOB KEYS
i) These BT FOB Keys will need to securely pair with the BT Controllers to lock/unlock the doors.
ii) The FOBS must have an extended battery life and communicate with the Smart Lock Controller to indicate low battery.
iii) The FOBS must be able to be deleted from the system in case they are lost.
3. Smartphone Apps for iPhone/Android (iPhone is enough for the Prototype)
i) The Apps must enable the smart phones to act as Virtual Keys and have a Key sharing system to share Virtual Keys with other smart phones temporarily or permanently.
ii) The Apps will also have the ability to lock/unlock the doors at the press of a button.
iii) The Apps will require push notification and background operation to work correctly and efficiently.
