Hi there, I am looking for someone to design a simple, but elegant logo for a startup. A little bit about the startup: it is a web application that allows higher education students to create group projects.

Some examples of logo's I like the look of are Skype and tumblr. Simple, but powerful and elegant.

In the attached file, I have uploaded a page design that we are going with. Also you will noticed a logo I've created in a few minutes, I'm looking to get this changed if it can be improved or if I can be impressed.
