Branding / Logo Design

I am starting a practice doing hypnotherapy, past life regression, and other complimentary therapies. I would like to get the logo image done at this point and with it get clearer on branding in terms of color and font, look and style, so that I can then continue with what is next. I do have an idea of what I would like and can get close with pictures but the style and technique is missing. I tried to use Vista Print for Logo design since one of the images that I liked was on one of their business cards but it did not work out since I could not communicate directly with the designer. I have also played with making my own on Canva but I think someone who could draw on Illustrator or similar program could do a better job than me. I really like the style of the unusual geometry on the business card. I really like the way there is a grading of metallic color to give more of a dimension and style. I would like a full image of this, since it is only the bottom. I see it as looking more like a gem shape rather than something with equal sides at the top. So not symmetrical from bottom to top. I attached a 3rd image that is an attempt to complete that design. The top portion would need more lines and not a W design and I would like it to have more dimensionality without trying to make a 3 dimensional design which would be overcomplicating an image for a logo. I would also prefer there to be 7 points rather than 6 if possible. The other image I have attached is a screen shot of something that I created on Canva while I was playing around. I just picked that star because it was the closest thing I could find. I thought I would add it for reference because I like the effect that the variation of color adds however it may be too much blue on blue, doesn't look as elegant as I would like. With all that said, I am also very open to other design ideas that that would be unique and resemble a 7 point gem/star without trying too hard to look like a gem or a star if that is at all possible. I hope someone understands me :) I have never used an online site like this to find help. I would like to have clear communication to work through the design. Thank you!
