I am looking for an illustrator to create color illustrations for my new Children's book. Mythical theme with Mermaids, Elves and Dwarfs and Sea Life companions.
Style: I am looking for illustrations that are Disney-ish in style.
Theme/Story: I have a specific theme and story for the illustrations.
Number of illustrations: I will need more than 80 illustrations for the book. Some pictures and small area pictures and some are half page or full page.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience in creating color illustrations for children's books
- Ability to create illustrations in a Disney-is style
- Strong storytelling skills
- Ability to follow the storyline in the book and match pictures to it.
- Ability to take direction and details given the first time and not stray from them.
- Ability to bring characters and scenes to life
- Creativity and imagination to bring the story to life through illustrations
