create a wordpress theme based on an already existing website

basically I want a website/social network which is based on fitness niche. It needs to be something similar to this website: [login to view URL] but with some tweaking
what it requires:
User profiles in which they could follow other users (like twitter etc), and post weight loss updates or motivational statuses or whatever they wish aswell as live chatting system, also give users the ability to send each other awards/icons/gifts to poke or motivate eachother
Expiring Challenges made by the admin (for example lose 10kg in 4 weeks etc) in which people can join by paying a fee chosen by the admin. Upon registering they will be asked to upload a small video of themselves with some requirements specified by admin, such as being on a scale in underwear, having the daily newspaper visible etc etc
there will be a registration deadline of say 1 week or whatever.
As can be seen from the website above, there should also be the information of the amount of users in the current challenge, the amount they paid to enter and the total prize-pool for the winners. This should be customisable to any percentage the admin wants, meaning if I choose to have a challenge at 50% for me and 50% for prize pool i can, and the next challenge i could make it 10% - 90% or whatever.
there should also be a way to allow users to create their own challenges, however there should be a pre chosen commission fee for the website
each challenge is basically similar to facebook groups in which people can post stuff or comment on the admins posts, as well as allowing for uploads of files (so that each person gets the same generic diet + workout to follow)
