We need a website which integrates into an existing wordpress basis (theme is "minimal zerif") The sites that we need to get created should represent the core functionality of the website. These functions/site are: Create profile To allow the user to create a user profile and save the respective data in a database (MySQL). Associated data is, for example, name, e-mail address, payment information. Create event To allow the user to create an event and save this event into a database (MySQL). Each event has several information, like name, description, category, start time of event, end time of event, location (incl. address). These information are free for the creator. Payable options for each event are: upload logo, upload picture, direct link to reservation/tickets, link to website, allow voting (boolean). The prices for each options shall be configurable by the administrator. Also the user have the possibility to buy packages that allow to post events, e.g. for a whole year with extra features (like logo, linkes, etc.) The scope of these packages, the respective prices and the names of these packages shall be configurable by the administrator. Search and display events To allow the user to search for events based on the information like name, description, category, start time of event, end time of event, location (incl. address). The search results shall be displayed in a threefold way: on a map (e.g. google maps api), in list format and on a chronological time line. The user shall be able to slide the time line to narrow or widen the time for which events are shown. The sliding has immediate effect on the events shown on the map and in the list. The list shall be sorted according to the user’s preferences, e.g. the voting/ranking. Registered users shall be able to vote an event and write a review. Plan a trip On this page, the user shall be able to plan an entire evening/journey by arranging several events in a row. This page shall incorporate the search functionality. Time is a critical factor here. It takes time to get from one event/location to another and therefore the map feature shall contain travel times/distances. e.g. if the beginning of a movie in cinema is too close after an opera, the system shall warn the user that he will not make it in time. The page shall also suggest alternative options. Fan/Favorites-page Present the suggestions to the users based on their profile information and their previous reviews (where does the user live? did he rate generally karaokes high or low? etc.) Also on this site, the user shall be able to search and subscribe to bands, artists, locations (e.g. the waikiki bar in Berlin) or category (e.g. karaoke parties). These favorites shall then be presented in the same way as on the „display events“-site. Also, the user shall have the possibility to receive updates from his favorite events via e-mail.
