Graphic Designer Needed for a Simple Logo

Logo needed for a new business. I am a BIG fan of simplicity and am looking for a basic logo to go on business cards, brochures, and used on a webpages. I have a few ideas to offer creative direction if preferred, however I am very open to any ideas from a talented designer. The company currently has no established logo, website, advertising materials, or color scheme so the options are unlimited. To be considered, please provide samples of your past original work. I would be very impressed by a designer who is not only able to develop professional graphics, but is also able to evoke a response with their art which is consistent with the company's services and can help to define the company's image. The company is called "Life Story Biographies LLC" - we are in the business is helping people create their biographies and leave a legacy for friends, family, and future generations. Additional designs will be needed as I will soon be needing brochures and a website done - so opportunities are available for recurring work projects. Price is not my only consideration, so please describe your talent and experience.
