Make edits to real estate website with errors since wordpress update(s), also needs image directory edits

We have a wordpress website we host, the developer is now unavailable and there are some problems; the details are in the attachment. Our Sales & Letting properties pages have been altered. 1: The Area on the listings has disappeared you can only see the owns on mouseover, they are showing as white on white text but purple on white on mouseover, 2: Those marked as Sold stc have lost their flashes, you should see in the coding that they had flashes, for example see attachment. 3: Those marked Let Agreed have lost their flashes, for example see attachment 4: The lead photos seem to be incorrectly sized as those with our banner for British Property Awards is not showing correctly, the images look distorted. For example the first property in the search for example see attachment , shows the edge of the banner just keeping in. the actual listing page shows it correctly, no distortion for example see attachment 5. The host has also informed us that we have found that at least one directory within your web space contains many thousands of files. This many files in a single directory is bad practice; it can delay backups from being taken, cause abnormal performance for other users, and also degrade the performance of your own site. The directories that were brought to our attention are: for example see attachment (217610 files) What it looks like is that a lot of the files are duplicated, I am not sure why. We need the duplicates removed but you need to be sure they are o being referenced, that is so to say that I don't want the pages as a result to have error 404 file no fond messages. If it turns out the site is using all the images in the file please let me know, and quote for a solution. I am fed up of freelancers who bid without reading the project, so be assured….
