Seeking a PHP/etc. Programmer to create a simple, yet 'powerful' website (backend) from scratch. My team and I should be able to handle the graphical aspect, as long as it is an "easy" project to navigate, for a novice web developer. Here's the idea, folks: User goes to [login to view URL] - met with a sign in page. Must sign in to see data. User anonymously signs in or chooses to sign in via social media page (I.E. Twitter, Facebook, or Google). Upon signing in, user is met with two options. First option is a "Profile Page", where the user may upload a "picture", "biography", "age" and "location". All of which can be pre-loaded via social media plugins. Simplicity is key though. Nothing more, nothing less. Second option is just a simple "marijuana leaf" image (image pending). When clicked or touched (via mobile), the leaf turns from orange (or faded red) to bright green; signifying that the user is currently legally, smoking marijuana or using marijuana products. Once the data is received, that the user is smoking marijuana, it will then jump (ajax or similar script) to a simple logo display with data below it. The data will be an amount of "people" -- "smoking weed" -- Assume there are 10,000 people signed in at the same time: The graph would display: "10,000 people smoking weed" - auto updating every time a new user signs in. Other necessary features: -Profile Page with custom user url ([login to view URL]*handle*) -Simple P2P Messaging with image+audio attachment ability ..and that's it. Really a twitter-less twitter feed site. This will hopefully signify unity and strength among the medical marijuana industry.
