Project Description

What I am looking for applicant-wise:

(1) I'm looking for an experienced [url removed, login to view] Core developer.

(2) I want to find a developer in the U.S. that already is, or is working towards their MCP, MCSD certification for web app development.

(3) There will be on-going assignments that this developer can help us with.

(4) A passion for video & computer gaming is a huge plus.

What your first task will be:

(1) Download sample source code for our website that includes the [url removed, login to view] Core website with Identity services.

(2) Help us identify what public information (screenname, profile photo, etc) is returned from the following services: Twitter, Google, Facebook, Twitch, Steam.

(3) Then update the sign-in functionality so that 3rd party profile information (screenname, photos, etc) are stored in the user's profile model, via EF Core 1.0.0.

(4) If possible - we would like to retain the refresh token from each 3rd party service to keep the user's logged in on their behalf. We would use this token in a later project to periodically update their profile in the back-end.

A little about your client:

(1) Full-time web developer that needs support for side project.

(2) This side project is 100% self-funded project.

(3) I work and live in the NOVA / DMV region. I don't expect you to, the internet is wonderful isn't it?

(4) One day, this will be a true big data project that requires machine-learning to keep up with. And thus, a developer who has experience or wants to try tackling machien learning through Google's TensorFlow.

(5) I'm passionate about video games. The best candidate would share this passion since the project is related to this industry. The latest series of games I'm engrossed in is Dark Souls. What is yours?
