Looking to have a bar code scanner app created.
App will allow a user to scan a bar code and pull data from a data base showing data to the user on screen.
The app will need to talk to a remote cloud DB which contains millions of records.
When the user scans successfully, they see information on screen and can choose to display images associated with the text.
Not a very complex app. We will supply the DB of products and the images associated with the text.
A user should be able to save scanned info to refer to it. He can also share the images and text with friends by posting to social networks or emailing a friend.
A user can also rate products that are scanned.
The app will also display items as alternative suggestions for the user.
The app will send back data to the server and we will want to keep track of items scanned, how often they are scanned, and sort by popular items, most expensive,etc.
