Concept - develop code based ad alerts for consumers. In the age of instantaneous gratification, consumers today want things to come to them versus seek them out. While the advent of the internet and various search engines have made online shopping easier, this tool takes it one step further by putting top related searches based on your specific keywords right in your mailbox. Similar to Google Alerts, this API crawls the internet and searches for specific items consumers are seeking versus the consumer having to browse the internet and cull through several different websites looking for the best offer. For example, I might be in search of a new storage ottoman. With this new tool, I could input “storage ottoman” into my browser and everyday I will receive a “daily digest” of items based on the keywords I input. Every day I receive recommended storage ottoman selections right to my inbox in one concise email. I can delete if I’m not interested in any and wait until the next day when a new set of ads return.
