I need to create a movie comprised of personal video clips (wishing my friend “Happy Birthday”) that has the appearance of a world-class and engaging movie trailer, with all the drama, flair, fast edits, and accompanying (orchestra) music that go along with it.
The total length of the soundtrack is exactly 60 seconds. The total length of the movie, when you include opening screen branding, any voice over, or black screens should be about 70 seconds.
In order to create the movie, you also need to tap into your emotional side, help me pick the soundtrack ([url removed, login to view]), co-draft the storyboard & shotlist (e.g. we have to tell a story which matches the beats of the soundtrack).
You need to be an expert in iMovie, which is the easiest (and most powerful) software to use for this job.
It helps to be know Final Cut Pro (preferred), Adobe Premeir, and/or After Effects.

This particular iMovie demonstrates use of fast edits (synched to music), slo-mo, time lapse, use of voice over, black screen, titles, etc.
Bottom line: You gotta be a mashup artist, brilliant editor, storyteller, and have experience with hype movies (or movie trailers).
