Dental Insurance Verification

The Insurance Verification Agent will be responsible for: Completing a breakdown of benefits for a specified list of patients using web portals, fax and by calling insurance companies Uploading completed breakdown forms into the dental practice’s software Skills Needed: Must have a basic understanding of dental procedures and terminology Must have a basic understanding of the types of insurance plans available in the US Understanding of HIPAA laws is preferred Basic familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets is preferred Must have excellent English (Oral and written) Job Requirements: Willing to start immediately and work a shift scheduled between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) Able to regularly work for 32-40 hours per week Have uninterrupted access to cable internet with at least 5 MBPS (not WIFI) The ideal candidate is: Someone who is detail-oriented and is able to detect small inaccuracies and correct them Someone who is dependable, is able to take ownership of their work, and is comfortable working with productivity quotas Someone who is self-motivated and will aim to achieve the best possible results for themselves and their team, whilst identifying opportunities for improvement along the way Someone who stays objective despite trials and challenges Someone who works very well under tight deadlines Someone who is willing to try new technologies and provide feedback on them Someone who is comfortable raising issues to management to help improve existing processes Someone who is comfortable adapting to evolving processes Our offer rate for this role is at $3.00-$4.00/hour depending If you have experience in data entry or insurance verification, please include that in your cover letter as well. Your main responsibility is to do web research and perform outbound phone validations which mainly consist of validating details with the insurance company.
