In Affiliate Marketing:
- I have been working with networks AWIN, ShareASale, WebGains, Commission Junction, Trade Tracker, Zanox, CAN, vCommission, DGM.
- I launch merchants on these networks and then start recruiting publishers/ affiliates as per the merchant niche.
- My criteria of recruiting affiliates is, I analyse the website of affiliate then check its Global Rank, country rank on similar web, check how many estimated visitors website is getting per month. Check website's referrals and traffic mainly from which country its coming and then I approach affiliate after these factors. Suppose if affiliate's website is getting traffic 80-90% from US then I approach him for US merchants and pitch offers of that particular region. For, clear verification I ask to reply my test mail from his "domain specific email id".
- Once, I find everything fine then I start pitching offers and keep on doing regular follow ups until affiliate starts generating sales.
- After getting sales I keep daily track on his activities like from where he is generating sales, I check IP address, Operating system from which sales has been generated, ID, time, number of clicks.
- If I find any thing fraudulent then ask affiliate to stop promoting immediately.
- I send monthly sales validation reports to merchants.
