The project is to create the Node-Red interface on a Qnap TS-451U NAS and the corresponding AWS interface. A series of IoT sensors transmit their values with the MQTT protocol in Json format. The Qnap address is not fixed. It is accessible via a dynamic address provided by No-IP.
The router is set to NAT and directs port 1883 to the NAS.
The Node-Red configuration must listen on port 1883, save the values in a local database, and transfer the values to the Amazon Iot service.
Thirty separate measurements from a single source must be processed. The majority of measurements are transmitted at a rate of one sample per minute. One of the measurements is transmitted at a rate of 20 samples per second.
Configuration work can be done via an OpenVPN connection on the NAS. The configurations required for the router must be transmitted to us so that we can implement them.
Access will be provided to configure the "Topic" and "Thing" on the AWS console.
The authentication files or any other information that must be integrated into the IoT sensors must be generated and transmitted to us.
At the end of this project, all the values transmitted by the sensors must be stored locally in a database and transmitted to the AWS service.
