# Freelance LG webOS Signage App Developer **Company:** Flickerwall **Type:** Freelance / Contract (remote, open to anyone) **Engagement:** Project-based, with potential for ongoing work ## About the Role Flickerwall is a digital signage CMS platform used by 100+ of businesses across retail, QSR, corporate, education, and hospitality worldwide. We're looking for a freelance developer to build a native signage player app for LG webOS Signage displays that integrates with the Flickerwall backend. This is a great opportunity for developers experienced with LG's webOS platform, or anyone willing to learn it, to work on a production app running on real commercial displays. ## What You'll Do - Build a signage player application for LG webOS Signage displays using LG's official **IDCAP API** (the unified platform replacing HCAP/SCAP) - Use the **webOS CLI**, **Beanviser**, and **Beanstaller** tools for development, performance profiling, and deployment - Integrate the player app with Flickerwall's backend to pull content, playlists, and scheduling data, and report device/playback status back to our CMS - Follow LG's official developer guidelines and platform requirements strictly (app packaging, device compatibility, IDPN version handling, etc.) - Handle content caching, offline playback, remote configuration, and device health reporting - Test and validate the app on actual LG webOS Signage hardware ## Requirements - Experience with **LG webOS Signage app development** (IDCAP or legacy SCAP/HCAP APIs) — prior published or deployed apps preferred - Familiarity with the webOS Signage SDK/CLI toolchain (webOS CLI, Beanviser, Beanstaller) - Solid JavaScript/HTML5/CSS skills for building web-based signage apps - Experience integrating apps with REST APIs / backend systems - Comfortable working independently and delivering against a spec - Bonus: experience with other signage SDKs (Android, Fire TV, Tizen) or CMS platforms ## How to Apply / Screening To be considered, please share: 1.
