Before update, it's probably worth to check these components:
FlexiContact
WidgeKit
JCE
At least 2 of them don't appear to work after Joomla 1.7 to Joomla 2.5 update.
Site needs to remain intact with current content looking the same when converted. Don't wish to purchase new versions of components / add-ons. The site is actually very simple and only unusual thing is a scroller on first page for the image and the contact page.
