Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a Freelance Journalist at Travel And Tour World located in Las Vegas, NV. The Freelance Journalist will be responsible for news writing, broadcasting and creating press releases for the magazine.
•It is a 3 day job.
•The journalist will be accompanying the CEO in IMEX America to cover the event.
•The journalist will have to take on-site audio/video interviews, write and post articles, attend press conferences & seminars etc. during the show.
•The event is being held at Mandalay Bay, Las - Vegas
•Event dates are 17th - 19th October 2023.
Qualifications
Strong writing, news writing and broadcasting skills
Excellent research skills
Experience in creating press releases and communication material for the travel and tourism industry
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with industry professionals
Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field
Experience in the travel and tourism industry is a plus
Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
