Custom Raspberry Pi project

hi we already have very excellent experience to build the system we need to know which system you need to use : raspbian - stretch lite or raspbian - stretch full desktop as I read you need after set settings and reboot pi will connect the wifi which you set its settings from access point mode after pi connect wifi , access point will disappear and each time system open will check "if wifi connect to network " if not pi will switched to access point mode anyway we will provide demo before accepting bis as proof of concept

just a few weeks ago i made something very similar, the difference being i was pushing the wifi and psk through a app instead of the webpage, i can design you a pi image that when you burn it to your sd card, will boot up create a ap (if it does not or cannot connect to a saved wifi), and you will be able to connect to this ap and access the webpage where you will select the wifi, add in the password and once you submit that the pi will reboot into the new wifi.

Hello, Which distro are you planning to use for this project? Raspbian? I presume that you boot from SD card and want to store the config in there, right? Do you plan implementing any fallback to default config in case rpi cannot connect to the wifi? I was thinking about something light for this project. Maybe golang or rust, nice small executable without much fluff. Currently I'm developing something like that but for ESP8266 microcontroller to avoid storing config in source code. Hi I am an electronic engineer with more than 5 years of experience in embedded systems development. After reading your project description completely, I've decided to apply for the project. I have previously done this type of work before. Upon startup it is easy to make a hotspot and allow to enter home network WiFi credentials. Also in mean time we can make it a o e time task by creating a memeory so everytime users does not have to enter credentials. I have good experience in customizing rPi OS light to remove all the unwanted programs and boot messages. I have done this for many times. I cam create the whole program setup and send you a OS image , so that you can directly burn on yo your SD card. HI, I have 2 Raspberry Pis and 3 Raspberry Pi Zero Ws for my home automation needs. I have a sprinkler system and a DIY Thermostat using RaspberryPis and 2 Aquarium Lights made by me using ESP8266. They all had this requirement of setting up Wifi by this exact method. I think I can do this for you. Are you using RaspberryPi Zero W or RaspberryPi with some Wifi dongle? Hi. I work as Hardware Engineer in a company that develop IOT projects.
