NOTE: I need urgent assistance on this issue - once assigned I need the freelancer to connect up with me and work on this via remote support immediately. Work needs to be done via remote support so that I can see what is done and learn from it (as I need to be able to diagnose these issues in the future). I'm hosting a system and website on a Plesk Obsidian for Linux server and today it is getting 500 Internal Server errors. I can access the file system, database etc and that is all fine. I have backups of everything. I'm not out of disk space and CPU usage is good. I've had a quick look at the logs and nothing stands out. This is what I've done so far: - restarted the server - Looked at the logs - but can't see anything obvious . - tried to find the [login to view URL] file on my system in order to modify it to give more detailed error messages but I don't have such a file on my filesystem. I'm doing this at an hourly rate project as I have no idea how long it will take but I suspect up to 2 hours.

Gavin, The 500 error code is a generic HTTP error state that indicates a faulty state of the web server. There can be innumerable reasons for receiving such error. Without further analysis there is no way to determine what's causing the error. Try debugging your code step-by-step and check the exception being generated.
