What I am trying to do is install OpenVPN on a headless Ubuntu VPS server (acting as a client NOT server) So i install OpenVPN with "apt-get install openvpn",. Then I issue the following command to start it "openvpn --config [login to view URL]" This does indeed start it, but, SSH to the VPS drops, so in the .conf file I added to the bottom "route-nopull" This does work and all routing is still done over the default interface. Now, my issue is, when I run "curl --interface "tun0" [login to view URL]" as root it works as it should and returns the IP address of the remote VPN server I am connected to. Now if I run that same command as a non root user it just hangs and eventually fails What I want from you is to guide me through the proccess of getting it to work properly using a non root user. Thanks
