My Mother has Alzheimer's Disease and I am trying to build a mobile application that will help her and I throughout our day. The application should have two modes: Caregiver mode and Person with Dementia Mode. When in Caregiver mode, family members are able to login and update a group calendar, send messages, and upload photos. They can also contribute to a shared document "diary/journal" that allows them to keep each other updated. The Person with Dementia mode will then display these updated fields into a friendly and simple UI that can be cast (chromecast) to any display in the home. While the mobile device is casting a simple UI to a larger display, it should also turn into a "picture button phone" that allows the person with dementia to make a phone call to 5 people with just one touch (this mobile device and in-home display should always be on).

The Caregiver mode should also integrate with fitbit api and Nest home monitoring api, to let family members access content from these apps from within our app.
