I have an SQL Server Express 2016 containing one (not too large - disk usage approx. 300Mb) database. The SQL Server is running on Windows Server 2016 Essentials, both 64-bit. I need a simple solution to automatically create a regular (daily or weekly) backup of the database. Preferably no external tools should be used, only the built-in features of the SQL Server or built-in features of Windows (like scheduler). It can be any solution, DB replication, file copying etc. Please, include a high level description of the technology used in your quote. As a delivery, I expect a detailed description in form of a Word document of what, where and how needs to be set up. The document should also include the steps how to restore the DB from the backup in case of any failure. If any batch or SQL scripts are required, those should also be provided. I will do the suggested steps in my environement and the project is over when the regular backup is working properly.

SQL has a built in feature for back up and restoring database.
