iPhone Car App 06/14/2013

SCOPE: The project is to develop an iPhone Social app for car lovers to showcase their cars. The application will have the following sections: • User – User profile/setting • Photo – Take pictures/video and upload • Garage – Display photos / videos of cars • Map – This section uses the mapping framework to display on-screen the location of cars. The application will have the following features / functions: • Login / Registration [Facebook and email] • Upload photos/videos of their cars • User Profile (description of user, name, contact info, etc.) • Car Profile (description / type / category /features of the car) • Location services (use the phone’s GPS capability to store the location of the car) • Visits / Favorites / Like counters • Message / Comments about car • Send PUSH notifications (i.e. new comment, new like, etc.) • Share (Facebook / Email) • Browse other people's care based on search parameters The app will use both iAd and also administrator specified ads that are stored in the database to allow targeted advertisements based on the users make/model of vehicle. Front- and back-end work is required. DESIGN CONCEPT: Design should be clean, professional and utilize the flat / minimalist design approach. Please see sample design approach: [login to view URL] HOSTING: The hosting uses PHP and MySQL. You will need to develop both the iPhone App as well as the Web Service in PHP to communicate with the MySQL database. Must have setup knowledge using [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] PAYMENT STRUCTURE: Money will be Milestone and release upon the following: 10% - upon completion and approval of design 20% - upon completion and approval of phase 1 of development 20% - upon completion and approval of phase 2 of development 20% - upon completion and approval of phase 3 of development 30% - upon successful final UAT and final delivery of all source codes and files This payment structure is a pay as you go method and will reduce risk for the developer and ensure progress for myself. COMMUNICATION: I require someone who will actively communicate with me and update me throughout the project TERMINATION: This project will be terminated if I feel the development and/or communication process has stalled. If there is an issue, identify it and let me know. I need to turn in a status report as well. OWNERSHIP: Upon full payment, full worldwide ownership of the software/application will transfer to me.
