Hello,
We have an issue with our VoIP (Asterisk / PBX) based application that it receives no calls when running on the background.
The issue is currently that;
1) APP is in the Android recent-tabs it sometimes receives calls / broadcasts.
2) APP when not (closed) from the recent-tabs it never receives calls / broadcasts.
3) APP crashes when not directly open after phone restarts due to wrong background-services script.
4) APP must always work on the background from the moment it is started.
The problem is mainly with the newer from Android 7 versions.
On all Android versions (from 4) till the latest Android version the app must always run on the background no matter if the phone is rooted or non-rooted. Must work on every Android phone / version (from 4). Basically as stable as Whatsapp.
Does anyone can help us with a script or implementation of such background service.
