Musical proofreading and score checking

We are producing a modern critical edition of a long lost comic operetta by the 19th century English composer Sir Arthur Sullivan -- the Sullivan of Gilbert & Sullivan fame.
We need knowledgeable musicians to compare original 19th century handwritten musical scores to modern, printed instrument parts. There are hundreds of pages of music to compare, hence we’re looking for multiple proofreaders and/or people who have several hours/days to commit to the project.
To succeed on this job you'll need to work quickly and efficiently, have a high attention to detail and:
- Be able to read instrumental music in several clefs: treble, bass, tenor, and alto preferred, but some subset of those will be considered.
- Understand classical musical notation and be able to note musical differences between an older style of notation and modern printed sheet music (don't worry, we'll help you understand the 19th century notation).
- Familiarity or experience with musical typesetting and systems (Sibelius, Finale) is helpful.
