We'd like to bring on a Big Data and Machine Learning expert to help us: 1. Create a corpus of classifiers (tags) utilizing data sourced from Twitter 2. Analyze and categorize free text data (Web page content using tags developed during step 1) 3. Prepare the data for export and analysis via [login to view URL] on a MySQL Database We have provided a document outlining an overview of how the data would be analyzed and a sample output. The freelancer would not be responsible for rendering this visualization, just preparing the SQL table to enable this visualization to be quickly rendered via our existing tools (we are using [login to view URL]). We'd like to develop an ongoing workflow where source data is inputted to AWS (from an external source), analyzed using AML and data outputted to a SQL table on the same server as where the source data is coming from. Post deployment, data would be analyzed in real-time on our own AWS instance, but developed using freelancers' and then settings, models, etc. exported for use on our own AWS instance. Freelancer will provide advice about how to optimize the development and export process.

We have gone through the data flow that you have designed and propose the following: 1) Using Twitter for categorization - a) Does Twitter data closely resemble the kind of data you are looking to categorize? If yes, then we can go ahead with this methodology. If no, we need to find a lookalike to understand the data. This can be done via scraping websites that will be a part of this project. b) There are multiple methods of categorization. What you are looking for is a semantic method of categorization(which is doable based on business insights if the content type is expected to be fairly static). However, if you want your software to be time resistant (discover new topics trending and self categorize), we would need to a unsupervised machine learning model to predict the category of content. 2) Sentiment analysis: a) We are assuming the data is more or less in English. b) We have to set up NLP(Natural language processing) methods to discover sentiment(most preferred way). Another way would be to create sentiment identifier logic (hardcoded) based on existing content. 3) DB dump: a) Once data is aggregated and processed, dumping it to the DB is a piece of cake. However, I believe the categorization workflow and the data workflow would need to be different to be truly agile. Note: The quote mentioned is just an indicator, we would need to discuss the approach before committing to the project.

I have worked on Various Banking clients on AML as a financial Risk Analyst where I have worked on risk model validation, actuarial transformation, Risk analysis , Predicting models and trade surveillance forecast . I have also worked on text analytics using R for an insurance firm for predicting customer behaviour analysis then plugged the corpus data (tags) into tableau for efficient decision making. I am interested in doing this assignment as I have worked on the details in my past working experience so I am able to provide the best solution for this problem. feel free to reach out to me for further details. looking forward to work with you.
