Write Python and QtPy code to update and select data in one table and then write selection to another

We are building a large interactive model and require some building blocks for that [login to view URL] work package is to use QtPy, Python and SqlAlchemy and MySql to retrieve a list of data from the database into a GUI - then in the GUI update some fields of data whilst other fields are calculated - then select from the list items through a check box and create or update another table from that selection. Once the new table has been updated, open that in the GUI and add items to one additional field based on a pulldown list of options
