The transferring of information will go through the SQL Servers, which would allow for a one-way transfer. QBE is our designated Master Database, and all changes will be processed through here. Items mapped to the QBE Item number reference and Custom Field UPC, to provide for accurate update of information. Sales transfer to create sales history in POS. We need a system for sales from POS to be updated in QBE quickly and effectively.
For this program to function properly, we would need the ability to schedule regular updates of information between programs. The program must also be able to be opened to a dashboard that allows manual (One time/Not scheduled) information transfers, with the ability to toggle the type(s) of information imported. For instance if we do not want any sales from POS to be checked then it can be turned off.
Source code and Copyright information will be included with this program, so we may install or redistribute as our own. Code will be written in the C# programming language, developed in .net. Free support will be included for troubleshooting possible errors along the way. As discussed, we wish to extend the free support to a 2 month session in case we stumble upon any errors as we go.
