I have 2 locations and a home location. I would like the 3 of locations to be connected through site-to-site VPN (router-to-router VPN). In location 1 & 2 i have netgear utm50 which has VPN capabalities and home location has a Asus RT-N66U ( i can change Asus router to netgear if i have to). I would like the 2 netgear's to be connected through VPN so workstations at both locations recognize each other and share files. I have IP phones in both locations as well. 5 users in location 1 will use "windows remote desktop" into 5 virtual machines in location 2. 5 users in location 2 will use "windows remote desktop" into 5 virtual machines machines in location 1.
Currently i am using a VPN which is installed on a virtual machine in one my windows servers in the 2 locations. The remote desktop seems to be very slow and when calling from ip phone from location 2 voice is not clear on customer side. 3cx Phone PBX is in location 2.
Netgear UTM50 has lPSec, SSL VPN, Certificates, PPTP Server, & L2TP Server options.
