The participants are seasoned security engineers and architects who already speak the language; what they need is a fresh, up-to-date look at core concepts, modern threat landscapes, and the tooling that underpins today’s best practices. What I need you to do • Design a cohesive curriculum that fits into two eight-hour live sessions (remote delivery). • Prepare slide decks, instructor notes, lab guides, and sample PCAPs or VM images so learners can test concepts hands-on. • Include real-world case studies that illustrate defence in depth, segmentation strategy, IDS/IPS tuning, and incident detection workflows. • Deliver the sessions live over Zoom or a comparable platform and remain available for a short Q&A clinic afterward. • Provide a short knowledge assessment so attendees can gauge mastery of the material. Acceptance criteria • All materials must be original or properly licensed. • Labs must run on readily available, free tools (Wireshark, Suricata/Snort, Zeek, pfSense, Docker-based sandboxes, etc.). • Final assets are handed over in editable formats (PowerPoint/Keynote, Markdown, or PDF for static docs). • Session recordings remain my property for internal replay.
