Oracle Simphony Gift card Integration Project

We are seeing a C# programmer that also has experience with the Oracle Simphony property management software for hotels. In Oracle’s vernacular, we want to write a “driver” that will receive gift card (stored value card) transactions, send them to our gateway and then send our respond back upstream to Simphony. To clarify. There are 4 steps to each transaction:
1. The Hotel clerk swipes the gift card and enters the transaction into Simphony.
2. Simphony sends the transaction to our driver.
3. Our driver sends the transaction to us.
4. We send the approved/declined message back and the driver sends the transaction back to Simphony
We have a well-established API that has been used in over 170 integrations so far. We will provide our API doc to the developer that we award this project to. (not to anyone else)
Oracle has very little documentation – only an overview of the architecture of the Command Module Interface. However, they have provided us with sample Visual Studio projects that may have all the information we need. For that reason, we will to manage this project in two phases.
Phase /Milestone 1:
We will send you the C# Visual Studio files with sample apps that the people at Oracle tell us will provide all of the information we need to write our own app. Oracle calls this their “Control Module” interface. You will evaluate the code and let us know if it provides the information that you would need to be able to move forward. This phase should not take more than 4 to 8 hours – we just need you to tell us if the sample code is enough to go on or not.
Phase /Milestone 2:
If we are lucky and the C# sample code is useful, then we will give you the green light to move forward with the complete integration. We will set up an test environment so you an run test transaction. This will be a virtual machine that you can lot into using RDP. Oracle can provide support, but the documentation is non existent so Phase 1 is the most important phase.
Additional Notes:
Previous experience with Oracle Simphony would be a huge advantage with this project, but we know that is not highly likely so anyone with C# and gateway or transaction processing experience will be considered for this project.
We will also provide test accounts, credentials, etc. We have zero interest in working with developers that do no test their code or provide bug fixes throughout the beta stage.
We will want to work with you for future enhancements and ongoing support for an hourly fee. That can be setup as a subsequent project in Freelancer.
