We have a page with a form on it which allows people to sign up to an Event. All of the event details are stored in a database, including the deposit amount needed. So the "buyer" needs to pre-authorise their own Paypal account for that amount for the Event and that completes the booking process. No money should be taken at all at this point. It also needs to send an email (for now to my email which I will give you) to confirm that the buyer has authorised their payment and booked onto the event. So - using Paypal authorisation ([login to view URL]) the buyer needs to pre-authorise a payment, it should redirect them to a specified page which I will give you, and it will send an email when they have completed this.
