Converting a book into a website.
Presently we have a book that we would like to be converted into a website, as a promotional tool for our website. Presently he have the whole book on PDF format that we would provide you with.
Even we can copy the design from the book for the website; we would quite like it to look very professional.
-- Important Part --
We need to restrict visitors ability to view the book online, however we also want the search engines to easily be able to spider and index the entire website.
This is the solution we have presently come up with. When someone enters the website they have unlimited access to the book for 10 minutes, after that it will divert them to a page asking them to buy the book. I would like this time limit to reset each day, that way they could come back at another time and look at other pages. This would also be plenty of time for the search engines to index the entire site.
some requirements:
1. Content management system for the backend.
2. Mass link adding, we would like to be able to have links through out the site within the text, so if we could have a way of searching through the whole site and adding/removing links on mass that would be really useful.
3. The URL to be very search engine friendly, preferable not with post variable at the end.
4. Really looking for a good designer and would like to the site to use CSS quite heavly.
Also as part of this project I would like the actual content of the book adding into the database please tell me how you would do this.
The ideal people:
1. having completed a couple of previous projects on RAC and have a high rating (9+).
2. I like to working with groups I find they are a lot more realiable than singler coders, also they usually provide a better range of skills.
