Mobile version of corporate intranet
$5000-25000 USD
Paid on delivery
We are in search of a top-notch development team to take the existing desktop version of our corporate intranet and create a mobile version of a select number of pages. Thirty unique pages have been identified and placed into 9 distinct groups based on functionality. Our designers have completed the PSD mockups of the landing page and the distinct page layouts.
Rather than developing an application for each platform (iPhone, Blackberry, Windows), we want a mobile version of our corporate intranet developed in a way that it is accessible from any mobile device with internet connectivity.
We want to take the most used pieces of our corporate intranet and convert them to a mobile compliant web site developed in Visual Studio 2010. These features include: News, memos, blogs, employee directory, and employee job statistics. All of the business, data access, and service layers are built.
We can provide the compiled DLL libraries and examples of how we are using them along with examples of how we use are using AJAX (jQuery, WebServices, and the service layer) to retrieve some of the data. This job would require a team to create the mobile CSS and pair it with a new presentation layer using our pre-existing data retrieval structure. The team would deliver a working Visual Studio 2010 project upon completion of the project.
Currently developed in MS ASP.NET (VS2008), jQuery, and SQL Server 2008
We do not have anyone on our development team with a mobile background and need a team/person who can make this mobile site work on the following phone platforms:
1. iOS 2.0 +
2. Android 2.0 +
3. Windows Mobile 7
4. Blackberry OS 5.0 +
5. Palm webOS 1.0 +
We are breaking the project up into 8 milestones:
1. Creating a project plan for the completion of the software development
2. Develop new VS2010 project for mobile site
3. Fully functional "Alpha" site is completed and submitted for review
4. Feedback delivered on Alpha site for revisions
5. "Beta" developed & delivered
6. Final testing and revision round
7. Fully documented mobile project code
8. Transfer VS2010 project to internal team for publication
