I am creating a portal and need help as I am drowning!!! Basically it is to customise a shopping cart application so that I can include companies and products as part of the offering. I have done a bit of work already but certainly need help.
For this phase, we simply need:
1) Shopping cart functionality - experience with Cactushop is a real plus. Please provide references if you have them.
2) Product Display - already provided by the Cactushopping cart.
3) Company Display and full back end maintenance.
4) Sending Inquiries - including the ability to send one email to multiple people
5) Advanced search for both the Company and Products.
Of paramount importance is scalability, easy maintenance and keeping to deadlines without compromising quality.
As this is a business portal, there will be a long term commitment from my part to work with the right person.
Please let me know ASAP if you would be interested as I would like to complete this phase within the next two weeks.
A full prototype is available for the selected candidate to begin work immediately.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
