Auction ID is the number ID of the auction (something like ID 123, 456, 876, 345), they are sequential so every time you set up a new auction the ID is automatically added. We perform a lot of testing and we would like to have the option to edit it (you can edit individually ). So let's say the auction count is in 324 and we perform 20 auctions as a test (meaning that only the webmaster will be able to see and bid on those auctions) after that if we put an auction for the public the auction count would be up to 344, so the users will be able to see that there's a gap of 20 auctions that he/she didn't see, so to avoid confusion we want the option to edit the ID, for instance let's say that if we delete those 20 auctions we performed as a test the count would go back to 324 instead of going from 344. SECOND PART API integration from Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Windows Live and Open ID. It's a way for users not to fill in another registration form, all the information required from them can be obtained from social networks and existing email accounts. This is an easy implementation given that all API have their own plugins ready to go and easy to customize, see all the links below for more info on how to get the plugins and how to customize them. I Don't know whitc plugin is best so at the end of this document I posted several links from where to get them. Information required are: Name, Surname, email address, nick name, house address and CPF (this is a Brazilian social security number used to identify individuals, numbers are composed from 12 digits, you can get the verification code entry from our [login to view URL] page) some APIs will give all the information requested above, but some wont, so what you need to do is customize the registration forms and ask the user to add all the information required that the system does not discloses or don't have. This integration is to be placed on 2 forms. 1-Registration page On that page we have our standart registration forms alongside with that we need to be implemented Register with Facebook , windows live and Gooogle and yahoo (the last to use the same API OpenID) Process : User connect with one of the APIs Our system checks whitch information in given by the API and asks for additional information that the API does not give. Information needed : Name, surname , email address, house address, birthday, CPF, street address, nickname. After registration form is completed ask if user wants to envite his/hers friends using one of the APIs by importing their contacts list. If they hit yes import their contacts information (name and e-mail address) Storage the list under Subscriber on our data base and automatically send an email envitation to their friends. Email format : Hello (name of the person informed by API) your friend (name of the user) wants you to check it out this website. It's awesome. Obs: Users registered with API will have their e-mail as their username and the same password to login into our system. After logged in their nickname will appear on the auctions they get it and not their e-mail (this distinction has to be added on the code) How the page must look like ? Please see the files attached to the project 2-Invite friends page ([login to view URL]) On this page you will find a place where people can input their friends email address and the system automatically sends them an e-mail. We need to be added on this page the API invite friends, from Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Windows Live and Open ID. Process User chooses whitch API to use (Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Windows Live or Open ID) After that the same process described on the first item takes place : import their contacts information (name and e-mail address) Storage the list under Subscriber on our data base and automatically send an email envitation to their friends.
